I just survived my Saturn period. Here's what broke down and what broke through
Have you ever experienced a moment where everything finally clicked--where life felt light, easy, and flowing--only to suddenly find yourself back in the struggle? This cyclical pattern of breakthrough followed by breakdown is more than just frustrating. It's actually a powerful opportunity for genuine transformation.
I recently emerged from the most challenging period of my year, and what I learned might change how you see your own difficult seasons.
Just weeks ago, I had broken into a beautiful new sense of lightness, ease, and flow. I thought I'd finally figured it out--that "I fully trust the universe, and it's so easy" had become my permanent state. Then everything shifted.
Projects that had been moving forward suddenly stalled. My confidence wavered. I questioned decisions I'd been absolutely certain about just days before.
When things got difficult, I did what so many of us do: I reverted to my old pattern. I went into "fix it, solve it" mode. I doubled down on effort, convinced that if I just worked harder and did more, I could regain control. Nothing moved. The harder I pushed, the more stuck I became.
Then I remembered: I was in my Saturn period.

In the Kabbalistic tradition, the 52 days before your birthday represent the Saturn period -- a time when things that aren't aligned with your path start to break down. Patterns that no longer serve you come to the surface. It's not punishment, it's preparation. Saturn is creating space so you can receive what's actually meant for you in your next chapter.
Here's what I finally understood: I was being tested.
Under stress, I immediately defaulted to questioning myself and then doubling down into pure doing mode. I wasn't connected to my spiritual practice. I was grinding instead of flowing, operating on willpower alone instead of connecting to the deeper energy and clarity that makes everything easier.
Finally, I surrendered. I took a full day off.
The moment I let go and reconnected spiritually, everything changed. Solutions that had been invisible suddenly appeared. Energy returned. The heaviness lifted.
When my birthday arrived and my Sun period began, projects started flowing again. My confidence returned -- not because I had worked harder, but because I had stopped trying to force outcomes and allowed the old misaligned patterns to fall away.
If you're currently in a season of breakdown, frustration, or feeling stuck, consider this: what if it's not failure? What if something is clearing space for your next chapter?
The breakdown you're experiencing might be revealing patterns that are ready to be released. The frustration might be pointing to where you're still trying to control outcomes instead of flowing with what's trying to emerge.
Transformation isn't linear. You don't move from struggle to ease in a straight line and stay there forever. Growth happens in cycles. You'll have periods of flow and periods of friction. The friction isn't evidence that you've failed or regressed--it's often evidence that you're ready for the next level of transformation. The old patterns need to be released completely before you can step into it.
The answer isn't to push harder. It's to reconnect.
When you operate only from doing--from willpower and effort--you're working with a fraction of your actual capacity. When you reconnect to your spiritual practice, to your intuition, to the part of you that knows the way forward, you tap into a completely different level of money energy, clarity, and prosperity healing.
If you're in a difficult season right now, be gentle with yourself. Notice where you might be reverting to old patterns under stress.
Then ask yourself: what if the answer isn't doing more, but reconnecting to the deeper wisdom that knows the way forward? What if this challenging time is actually clearing space for what you're meant to receive next?
The path to genuine transformation often looks like a breakdown--and it comes right before a breakthrough.
If you're ready to break these patterns and transform your relationship with prosperity, Pathway to Prosperity creates space for exactly these types of breakthroughs. Our next cohort begins in March 2026.
